Chicago: Day Two

On Saturday morning, I decided to have breakfast at The Original Pancake House.

Little did I know that the restaurant was nearly two miles away... and I walked.

That's probably a good thing because I was able to walk off the calories after eating a huge breakfast!

The Dutch Baby

I was actually glad I had walked because I got to take a stroll down Michigan Avenue and shop for a bit on the way back.

After shopping, I took a cab to Navy Pier.

Later, I took a stroll down Clark Street after visiting Wrigley Field. I was really excited when I turned the corner and saw this (especially since the Clemson game was about to start!):

A Clemson flag in Chicago!

After that excitement, I hailed another cab ride back to the hotel. I took a quick shower and walked a block down the street to watch the game at Houlihan's and grab dinner.

(P.S. Clemson beat Duke 56-20.)

After the game ended, I went back to the hotel and called it a night. I'll be back tomorrow for a recap of the final (and busiest) day in Chicago.

  1. I've never been to Chicago, but am dying to go...especially since you said they have a gigantic mall.

  2. I seriously love Chicago and these posts make me want to go back!!! I love the navy pier! Your breakfast looks good!!
