I've gotta be honest, my monthly Birchbox contents have been a bit on the slack side lately. To remind myself why I'm continuing to pay for the subscription every month, I'm writing about the samples I've really enjoyed in the past.

#1 - Miracle Skin Transformer Treat and Conceal Eye and Face

This is the most amazing concealer I've ever used. I cannot say enough about this product. I'd buy a few stock shares if I could afford them. I've had problems with acne ever since I hit puberty, but this LEGIT miracle concealer hides them so well that you'd never know it.  And not only does it cover my blemishes, it treats them and erases that icky redness that comes along with them. I'm obsessed! COMPLETELY WORTH EVERY PENNY.

#2 - The POREfessional from Benefit

This balm does such a great job at minimizing your pores. It also acts as a really great primer. Added plus: a silky texture and it's oil-free!

#3 - Wonderstruck by Taylor Swift

This smells AMAZING.
I've received quite a few lovely fragrances over the past few months. A couple of the others include Juicy Couture by Juicy Couture and Harvey Prince Ageless in Pink Grapefruit.

A few "less than thrilled" items I've received?

Banta Berry G-1 Facial Cleanser - this cleanser smelled so horrific that I couldn't even stand to use it.
Pangea Organics Lip Balm - not a fan of the consistency, taste, or smell.
Jouer Moisturizing Lip Gloss - the color I was given was horrendous and I hate sticky lip gloss (this gloss is really sticky).
Eye Rock Designer Liner - the day I wear an eyeliner that isn't really eyeliner at all... because it's a STICKER... is the day you have permission to shoot me.

I wish Birchbox would send me less lifestyle products like granola, energy boosters, and laundry detergents, and send more beauty products. I rarely receive any form of makeup at all.

Do you subscribe to Birchbox?
If so, what are some of the samples you've loved in the past?

The Eye Rock Liners are SO DUMB. I agree - such a waste. I wonder who actually got them and LIKED them??!!

  3. I'm obsessed with this Ahava- Time To Hydrate lotion I got. It doesn't have a strong scent to it and it does wonders for my skin. I've even been putting it on my sun poison to help keep the skin hydrated and it takes the sting out. It's also not greasy which I love. I've also gotten a few nail polishes in there too that I've liked. I wish I got the T swift perfume, i've been wanting to see what that smells like!

I got those eye strips too..what the heck ...those things went right in the trash haha.
