wee bit wednesday

{one} when was the last time you used a pay phone (if ever)?
Back when I was 19, had a pager, and was slingin' dope on the streets.
No, but seriously... probably when I was 19.
I really did have pager because (believe it or not) cell phones weren't very mainstream at the time.
People had them... but I certainly didn't... and I had to keep in touch with my friends somehow.
Enter pager. Enter pay phone.

{two} did you ever fail a subject in school?
No, not in high school.
My first year of college I failed them all due to missing too many absences.
I don't think there has been a college course that I have failed when I actually tried to succeed.
I should have failed College Algebra but my professor hooked me up because I harassed him on a daily basis, by popping into his office for help. He knew I was trying my best, so he helped me out.
You could probably consider that one.

{three} where do you go to get your favorite hamburger/cheeseburger?
Hamburger Joe's.
It is a locally owned restaurant (which is now spanning out) and their burgers are the best in the world!

{four} have you ever served jury duty?
No. I was summoned to serve when I was 2o or 21.
I just mailed in a letter stating I couldn't serve because of school and they dismissed me.

{five} how old were you when you moved out of your parents’ house?
I moved out several times.
The first time I moved out, I was 19 and moving into FMU.
The second time I moved out, I was 22 and moved to the beach for a month.
The third time I moved out, I rented an apartment with a friend.
The fourth time I moved out, I moved in with B.

{six} what is your favorite color to wear?
White. Hands down. I love it.

{seven} do you have a pair of shoes that you wear all the time?
I wear my brown Reef's nearly every single day.

{eight} do you enjoy talk radio?
Yes. I haven't listened to it in a while though.

{nine} if you could turn one unhealthy food into a healthy one, what food would it be?
Cheese Enchiladas

{ten} who is the best speaker you’ve ever heard in person?
Speaker? I'd rather not listen to any of them :)

  1. We have so much in common, it's stupid.

I did have my first cell phone at 18 (was never lucky enough to have a pager in high school) when I went to college. My grandmother put me on her plan for strictly emergencies. It was a very bulky Nokia.

I also moved out of my parents' house several times. Out of each parents' houses, once they split up.

I have never served Jury Duty. I always wanted to, but was summoned once I moved out of that county.

I also never failed a subject...until college. And it was only because I didn't attend classes nearly enough!
