The 30 Day Blog Challenge - Day 1 - Favorite Song

I have decided to do the 30 day blog challenge for this month... hoping that it will keep me busy & speed things up and before I know it... it will be September 4th and I will be boarding a cruise ship! :) HOORAY!

Day 1 - Favorite Song.
How does one choose a favorite song? I have so very many that I consider favorite's so I will just post a few for you here...

1. Please Come to Boston - Dave Loggins (Kenny Chesney's remake) It makes me mad that I can never find his version on YouTube or anywhere really... because he never recorded it... just sings it live. Anyway, I think the main reason this is one of my favorite's is because B is from Boston and I heard it the first time in his Jeep and I loved it.... loved it!

Please come to Boston for the springtime
I'm stayin' here with some friends & they've got lots of room
You can sell your paintings on the sidewalk
By a café where I hope to be workin' soon
Please come to Boston
She said no, boy you come home to me

And she said, hey ramblin' boy, why don't you settle down
Boston ain't your kind of town
There ain't no gold and there ain't nobody like me
I'm the number one fan of the man from Tennessee

Please come to Denver to see the snowfall
We'll move up into the mountains so far that we can't be found
And throw "I love you" echoes down the canyon
And then lie awake at night till they come back around
Please come to Denver
She said no, boy, would you come home to me

Now this drifter's world goes 'round and 'round
And I doubt that it's ever gonna stop
But of all the dreams I've lost or found
And all that I ain't got
I need someone to cling to
Somebody I can sing to

Please come to LA to live forever
California life alone is just too hard to build
I live in a house that looks out over the ocean
And there's some stars that fell from the sky
Livin' up on the hill
Please come to LA
She just said no, boy, won't you come home to me
2. Dixieland Delight by Alabama

This song just makes me smile because it is so southern. Growing up, I listened to Alabama all the time riding around with my parents. This song just makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

3. Juicy by Notorious B.I.G

Nothing needs to be said about this one except that it's classic old school.

4. Forever by Drake

I can't really explain why I like this song... I just do! Every time I hear it, I can't sit still. :)

5. If It Kills Me by Jason Mraz

This video from 'So You Think You Can Dance' made me fall in love with this song. It is amazing!

6. Rain on a Tin Roof by Julie Roberts

Julie Roberts is hands down one of my favorite artists. I've seen her nearly a handful of times and she is from South Carolina. 'Rain on a Tin Roof' is my favorite of hers, but I honestly love them all.

7. Born Again by Third Day

I know I've posted this on my blog once before but I love it and I can't get enough of it.
