SNL & hair dillema

So, I was sitting around the house today... bored and with nothing on TV... and decided to watch last night's episode of SNL that my boyfriend had DVR'ed. I used to be a pretty big fan of SNL but I haven't watched it much since Amy Poehler left the show. Anyway, Ryan Phillippe was the host last night and I must be slacking with my gossip magazine/website reading because he has shot up a gazillion points on the "hot and dreamy" meter. I love Reese Witherspoon. She is one of my favorite actresses... I think it's because she seems so down to earth & she's from the south :-) and I thought she did a lot better for herself (looks wise anyway) when she started dating Jake Gyllenhaal... but I might be wrong. Have you seen Ryan on the new cover of Mens Health magazine?  HOLY ABS!

I thought he did a really good job with the show last night. And, I never noticed how deep his voice is... wow. You can catch the whole episode at Ryan Phillippe Hosts SNL. Or, if you just want to hear his dreamy voice in his monologue... you can here Ryan Phillippe Monologue.

In other news, I got my hair colored yesterday and what a disaster. The girl that typically does my hair is out for 4 weeks with a broken foot. My roots just couldn't wait that long... so, I called and made an appointment with one of the other stylist's at her salon. I decided to have her just do an all over color because the majority of my hair was the same color anyway... and since I have such thick hair, it takes them forever to foil it. Well, now my hair is 3 shades lighter than it was before & I feel like I look like Holly Madison or Christina Aguilera.

It is not good look for me. I e-mailed my regular hair stylist to see what she suggests I do. Some low lights... dye it darker... something. Any suggestions?

  1. I completely agree with you. I love reese so it makes me not want to like him but he was actually pretty funny. I grew up in a salon, my mom owns one and I would say just try adding low lights. But also give it some time too because it just be such a drastic change but in a few days it after you get used to it a bit you may like it. Cute blog! :)
